1 Information We Collect

When you create an account on ClickroLink, we collect the following information:

• Email address (used for account verification and communications)
• Username (publicly visible on the platform)
• Password (stored as a secure bcrypt hash — we never store your plain password)
• IP address at registration and during surf sessions (used for fraud detection)
• Website URLs you submit to the exchange

We do not collect your real name, phone number, address, or payment information beyond what is required for point purchases (handled by third-party payment processors).

2 How We Use Your Information

The data we collect is used exclusively to operate and improve the ClickroLink platform:

• Verifying your email address and managing your account
• Detecting and preventing fraud, VPN use, and multi-accounting
• Sending transactional emails (verification, password reset, important notices)
• Calculating and crediting surf points accurately
• Displaying your submitted websites in the traffic exchange
• Improving platform performance and resolving technical issues

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or third-party marketers.

3 Data We Do NOT Collect

We want to be clear about what we do not collect or do:

• We do not sell your data to any third parties
• We do not use advertising networks or tracking pixels
• We do not collect your browsing history outside of ClickroLink
• We do not require your real name, phone number, or address
• We do not store payment card details (handled by payment processors)

4 Cookies & Local Storage

ClickroLink uses only essential cookies required for the platform to function — specifically your session cookie for login state and a CSRF token for security. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

We also use Google reCAPTCHA V2 for bot prevention during surf sessions. Google may set its own cookies as part of this service. See our Cookie Policy for full details.

5 Fraud Detection & IP Logging

IP addresses are not shared with third parties and are stored only as long as necessary for fraud prevention purposes.

6 Third-Party Services

ClickroLink uses the following third-party services which may process data subject to their own privacy policies:

• Google reCAPTCHA V2 — bot and fraud prevention during surf sessions
• Payment Processors — if you purchase points (data handled by the processor, not stored by us)

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these services directly.

7 Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion of your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for fraud prevention purposes.

Surf session logs and IP records are retained for a maximum of 12 months for anti-fraud purposes.

8 Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information:

• Passwords are hashed with bcrypt — never stored in plain text
• All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption
• CSRF tokens protect all form submissions
• Admin access to user data is restricted and logged

9 Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent for non-essential data processing
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

ClickroLink is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of ClickroLink after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
